    The Morning Ritual That Changed Everything

    I'm not a complicated person in the mornings. I don't have a ninety-minute routine or a spreadsheet of supplements, well, maybe a few supplements, but the foundation of my morning is actually very simple, and it's something I've been doing for years.

    Before anything else, before I look at my phone or make a single decision, I have a matcha latte blended with a few of my favourite powders. I use Lion's Mane, Reishi and Maca. And I just sit with it. No scrolling. No news. Just ten quiet minutes before the day starts pulling at me.

    It sounds small. But what you do in the first twenty minutes of your day sets the tone for all of it. I learned that the hard way during a period of my life when I was rushing from the moment I woke up, constantly reacting, always on. I was exhausted before lunch.

    The matcha gives me a calm, clean energy, nothing like coffee, which can make me anxious. The mushroom powders support my focus and immune system. And the ritual of making it, of doing something intentional before the world gets in, is worth as much as any ingredient.

    If you want to try one thing from me, try this. Give yourself ten minutes in the morning that are purely yours. Make something warm, sit down properly, and don't look at your phone. A week of that will surprise you.
