Small Changes That Make a Bigger Difference Than You'd Think
The number one thing that puts people off changing to a more organic lifestyle is thinking they have to do everything at once. They don't. Nobody does. I certainly didn't.
When I first started, I changed my food. That was it. Just my food. The rest came slowly, over years, as I got curious about one thing at a time. The cleaning products. Then the skincare. Then the way I thought about buying things at all. It snowballed, but gently.
So if you're standing at the beginning wondering where on earth to start, here's what I'd suggest. Swap your milk first. Organic milk is widely available now and the difference in quality is real. Then look at the vegetables you eat most often and go organic on those. You don't have to do everything; just do the things you eat in quantity.
In the bathroom, your moisturiser is the highest priority. You're covering a huge surface area of skin with it every single day. Make that one organic and you've made a meaningful change.
At home, your washing up liquid and your surface cleaner are easy organic swaps and they've come a long way in terms of how well they work.
What I always come back to is this: every time you buy organic, you're voting for the fields not to be sprayed with pesticides. You're creating demand for a different way of doing things. Your choices ripple outward further than you think. That's not pressure, that's just quite a nice thing to know.
