The Morning I Stopped Rushing

I used to leap out of bed like the house was on fire. Coffee, phone, emails before my eyes had even properly opened. One morning something in me just said, enough.
I made a cup of tea, sat in the garden in my dressing gown and did absolutely nothing for twenty minutes. It sounds so small. But it changed everything.
I am slower now, on purpose. And I get more done, not less.
