What My Herb Garden Taught Me About Letting Go

I killed a lot of plants before I learned to stop controlling them. I would over-water, over-feed, move them into too much sun. Then one spring I just left them alone and they absolutely thrived.

I think about that a lot. Some things just need you to back off and trust them. People included.

Gardens are very good at reminding you of that.
